The British pop artist gave the best possible salute to Dolly by playing her recording of "I Will Always Love You" on the MSG speakers.

Harry Styles paid tribute to the late country legend Dolly Parton during the opening night of his 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden. He played Parton’s original recording of “I Will Always Love You,” encouraged the crowd to sing along, and then transitioned into his hit “Sign of the Times.”

Parton died on August 25 at age 80. She was one of country music’s most influential artists, with 25 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and more than 3,000 songs written. Beyond music, she was known for acting, business ventures such as Dollywood, and philanthropy through programs including the Imagination Library.
